Discover the tanks of D-Day

Discover the tanks of D-Day at The Tank Museum on the 80th Anniversary and experience live tank displays during the May half term, 25 May – 2 June.

Visitors to the award-winning attraction can find out more about the famous invasion of Normandy, with the morse code machine activity, float a tank task, and interactive games and trails.

Head of Visitor Experience, Rosanna Dean, said, “D-Day was the largest military naval, air, and land operation ever attempted, and this half term we tell the story of the role of tanks and the crews at D-Day through an exciting programme of hands-on activities.”

Visitors can take part in tracked vehicle rides in the area and see an explosive live tank display every weekday.

Kids can let off steam in the Museum’s soft play area and enjoy the outside tank themed adventure play area.
