After the success of our previous 'Attack of the Daleks' events, The Tank Museum have invited some other sci-fi visitors to join the fray.

Start your May Half Term with a bang with sci-fi themed talks and tours, market stalls, characters and props around the Museum. Visitors wearing costume can enter for the reduced group rate on the day! 

Annual Passes are valid for this event. Book online for a reduced rate! 

Special guests!

Special guests will be on site for selfies and signing autographs and memorabilia.  (Additional charges may apply). 

Additional appearances over the weekend include the Charity Daleks. Star Wars characters Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and Chewbacca will be here on the Sunday. 

Saturday

Jon DaveyOn Saturday, Jon Davey - best known for his work on Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures - will be attending. Davey has featured in 42 episodes to date of Doctor Who over the past 12 years as various monsters, including as a Dalek, Cyberman, Ood, Jadoon, Whisperman and UNIT Soldier. Other work includes Rouge One, Torchwood, Merlin, Wizard v Aliens, Casualty and Atlantis in various roles. As well as this, Davey has been a DOP, camera operator and still photographer. He has worked on projects for Big Brother, X-Factor, Robbie Williams, Samsung and MTV, and on over 50 music videos. Jon Davey will be giving a talk on working behind the scenes of Dr Who

Sunday

Colin Baker and Chris Barrie will be attending on the Sunday.

Colin Baker1Colin Baker is best known for his role as the sixth Doctor on Doctor Who, from 1984 to 1986. Since that time, he has reprised his role in stage productions, audio plays and video games, as well as the comedy homage for the 50th anniversary 'The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot'. Other work has included numerous stage productions, film and television appearances, as diverse as the stage tour of 'The Woman in White', 'HMS Pinafore', 'Countdown' and 'Im a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'. Baker is also an author and the only Doctor to write a published Doctor Who story.

Chris Barrie Tank Museum regular Chris Barrie's most famous role is hologram Arnold J Rimmer in all twelve series of 'Red Dwarf'. He also starred as Gordon Brittas in the BBC sitcom 'The Brittas Empire' and as Lara Croft's butler Hilary in the 'Tomb Raider' franchise films. In addition, Barrie is a skilled impressionist, first achieving success in ITV's 'Spitting Image' and providing voices for Ronald Reagan, HRH Prince Charles and others for various albums and museum videos. Vehicle Rides
