The Tank Museum has been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award, recognising its continued commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.
This award highlights organisations that go above and beyond to support defence and the Armed Forces, with Silver awards recognising employers who actively demonstrate their commitment to defence and Armed Forces through practical policies and advocacy.
The Tank Museum has shown that it not only supports the Armed Forces community but also puts this support into action across its workforce.

This includes ensuring that service personnel, veterans and reservists are treated fairly, and that policies are in place to support their employment, training and development.

Senior People Partner, Laura Dinham, said “The Tank Museum is proud to support the defence community – a community we are deeply embedded in. We stand behind those who serve, have served, and the families who support them. These values are expressed not only in the stories we tell, but in how we operate as an employer, including our support for Reservists and our work with Cadets and the wider Armed Forces community.”
