The Tank Museum releases latest Christmas advert, “Open All Hours Until Christmas”.
The ad features the Museum’s YouTube stars David Fletcher MBE, David Willey and Finn the dog.
Following the success of 2020’s Christmas advert, reaching over 75,800 views on YouTube, the new heart-warming advert follows Tank Museum Curator David Willey, Historian David Fletcher MBE and Finn the dog packing presents in the Tank Museum’s Christmas Shop ready for Santa to collect.
Nik Wyness, Head of Marketing and Engagement, says: “Last year’s Christmas advert was a huge success. Compared to November and December in 2019, sales were up by 390% meaning generating over £400,000 in sales. Online store sessions also rocketed up by 407%.
“The continued growth from our multi award winning Online Shop continues to be an important source of revenue for the Museum, after losing substantial amounts of money due to COVID restrictions of the last year. We are incredibly grateful to all our customers for their support.”
All proceeds from the shop sales go to support The Tank Museum’s mission to preserve history.
