Stick Man Meet and Greet

Stick Man is leaving the family tree to visit The Tank Museum, as part of a nature-themed week of activities.

On 24 May, fans of the popular kid’s book by Julia Donaldson can meet Stick Man at Dorset’s largest indoor attraction.

“Stick Man is a much-loved character for so many children and we’re so glad he’ll be making an appearance this half term,” said Education and Visitor Engagement Manager, Nicola Burgess.

Supported by Forestry England, the Museum will be exploring the role woods played in tank warfare. The week-long program is inspired by the natural world and includes crafts, pottery painting, and camouflage skills.

“We know how important it is for families to get away from screens during the holidays, learn something new, and have fun together,” adds Nicola.

On weekdays, visitors will also be able to see (and star in!) live tank displays and ride in a real tracked vehicle.

Tickets are 20% off when booked in advance online, and there are discounts for Universal Credit recipients, veterans, and students.
