Dorset Christmas Market Returns

Get festive at The Tank Museum with two fun-filled days of a local craft market, live entertainment, and see Santa arrive in a tank, 14-15 November.

The event will see Santa swap his reindeer and sleigh for a tank, taking him into the Museum’s Kuwait arena where visitors can ask him questions.

Elliot Wills, Events Operations Manager, said: “The arrival of Santa on a tank may seem like an unusual idea; however, British tank regiments and their communities have had this tradition for around 100 years. It is important to us, as the regimental museum of the Royal Tank Regiment, to keep this Christmas tradition alive for the community.

“We’re also delighted to be once again partnering Dorset Team, a community of makers, artists, and small businesses selling high-quality crafts, art, toys, and gifts.”

Alongside Christmas shopping, The Tank Museum’s restaurant will be serving festive food and drink.

Attendees can also listen to live music from the Bournemouth and District Concert Band, one of the largest concert bands in Dorset.

Annual Passes and memberships are valid for this event, and all tickets include free returns for a year.
