After undergoing a rigorous assessment, The Tank Museum was awarded the coveted rose marque, showing that they offer “a consistently high standard of service, and experience.”
The assessor particularly noted that “interactivity is a key strength of the visitor experience”, with lots of hands-on ways to entertain and educate families and children.
They also described the breath of social, cultural, and human stories, ensuring a wide range of visitors can engage with the content, the friendliness of staff, and the Museum’s “standout” shop.
Director of Visitor Experience & Commercial, Rosanna Dean, said “We are honoured to be joining a list of prestigious attractions. Accreditation goes into every element of the visit, from how to book the tickets to the food we serve in our restaurant. To receive such a high score on our first assessment is really encouraging and reflects the hard work of the team.”
The Tank Museum is open every day in the spring and summer. During Easter, May, and Summer holidays visitors can learn about how tanks are used in battle during Tanks in Action, and join them in the arena themselves. Find out more about what’s on at The Tank Museum HERE.
