An exciting programme has been announced for the first ever wargaming-themed South West Model Show.
Partnering with Warlord Games, The Tank Museum’s Autumn South West Model Show is set to be full of wargaming models and demonstrations.
Featuring traders, exhibitors, and build-your-own model tank activities, the event will bring together modellers, wargamers and military history enthusiasts.
With a full programme of expert talks, visitors to the Museum will be able to hear leading wargaming experts discuss their painting tips and tricks, answer questions about miniature design, and explain how Warlord Games turned a Second World War tank into a Konflikt ’47 walker.
Elliot Wills, Events Operations Manager, said: “Whether you’re an experienced wargamer, keen to learn something new, or simply looking for an action-packed day out, there’s something for everyone at this year’s South West Model Show.”
Alongside the special event programme, visitors can learn about The Tank Museum’s collection of more than 300 military vehicles. They can also join an epic tabletop gaming battle featuring miniature brick models.
Younger visitors can enjoy the Museum’s tank-themed soft play and outdoor play area.
