3D Printed Matilda I Kit

The Tank Museum have teamed up with 3D Gizmo to bring the only Tank Museum approved 3D printed Matilda I model kit available.

The 1/35 model, fully 3D printed in resin, is a faithful representation of The Tank Museum’s Matilda I, with some elements of the original scanned for accuracy. This unique kit is guaranteed to be the perfect addition to your collection.

Designed by John Carden in 1935, the A11 Matilda I was the British Army’s first Infantry Tank. Lightly armed, but heavily armoured, they are notable for being deployed against Rommel’s 7th Panzer Division at the Battle of Arras, France on 21 May 1940.

This highly detailed kit comes with a one-piece hull, left and right running gear, track assemblies and an assortment of vehicle fittings.  The one-piece printed turret faithfully represents the shape of the real thing and the hatches can be posed open or closed.

The 1/35 3D printed Matilda I model kit is available for pre-order now and will go on general release in February 2025. Pre orders will include a 3D printed commander figure and stowage item.
