The Tiger II Konigstiger in 1/12 scale is a brand-new model from COBI. With 11,000 pieces, it has more bricks and detail than any other brick tank and is based on The Tank Museum’s Tiger II or ‘King Tiger’.

The Museum’s Tiger II was captured on 30 August 1944 after it broke down in a beet field near Beauvais, to the north of Paris.

It had been built less than two months earlier and used in combat by the 101st SS Heavy Panzer Battalion for just a week.

Gemma Butler, Assistant Marketing Manager at The Tank Museum, said: “This impressive 1/12 scale model based on our King Tiger would make a fantastic gift for all fans of tanks and model building.”

“Every purchase from our shop supports The Tank Museum in the conservation and preservation of its historic collection of armoured vehicles.”
