There is just one week until the festive family event and Christmas market at The Tank Museum on 18-19 November 2023.
In partnership with Dorset Team, there will be over a hundred stalls selling high quality gifts and unique stocking filler – all indoors so you can enjoy your Christmas shopping, whatever the weather.
Children can meet Santa and his elves, who will be resting their reindeers for the big day and arriving on one of the Museum’s tracked vehicles.
Tank Museum Events Manager, Tom Holmes, said, “We are pleased to work with the Dorset Team to give our visitors a festive shopping experience combined with family filled activities and trails at the Museum.
“Visitors can take a step back in time and experience a 1940s Christmas in the themed house and shop, dress up, and gets hands-on with the interactive displays.”
The onsite restaurant will be serving Christmas dinner and seasonal bakes and cakes, and kids can take advantage of the soft play area while parents relax with a coffee and mince pie in the café.
There will be live entertainment throughout the weekend, provided by dance troupe Jitterbug Jive, Wareham Town Band, and vintage music from the Mellor sisters.
Annual passes and memberships are valid for this event, and all tickets include free returns for a year. The first 50 visitors every day will receive a free goody bag.
