Membership How-Tos

All you need to know about how to get the most out of your membership.

  • Access your online account by going to:
  • When you purchased a membership or had a membership purchased for you, it’ll have made an account on the system – even if you bought your membership on our online shop, over the phone, or via direct debit.
  • If you bought on the online shop, via direct debit, on the phone, at the Museum, or the membership was a gift, put the email address associated with the membership into the Email field and press “Forgotten your password”. You’ll get a link sent to your inbox and you’ll be able to reset the password to your account, and then log in.
  • If you don’t know what email is associated with your account, please email or call the Museum between 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday.
  • If you have an account on The Tank Museum Online Shop, these two accounts are not linked.
  • Once you’ve logged into your account, you can update your email address and password.
  • If you would like to amend the address you receive your Tracklink to, please select “View Memberships”, select the relevant membership, and “Amend Address”. If you amend your address in the “Update Account Details” section, it will just update your billing address, so please do both.
  • If you would like to renew your subscription online, log into your account and click “View Memberships”. If your membership is due for renewal, you will see a “Renew this Subscription” button. Click this to renew by card or PayPal.
  • If you have a UK bank account, you can eliminate any worries about renewing each year by signing up to pay via Direct Debit. Sign up HERE. You can cancel at any time, and if we amend the price of your membership we will notify you.
  • The Members Area on shares the same login details as
  • Follow the steps above if you don’t know what your login details are.
  • If you are having problems logging into the Members Area, please email or call the Museum between 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday.
  • While you do get free Special Event tickets, please book them in advance so we know what numbers are attending.
  • If you have a Gold Friends Membership, you can book your FREE tickets for the Special Events that take place before your membership expires. For example, if your membership expires on the 1 May, you will be able to book for Tiger Day in April, but not TANKFEST in June.
  • If your membership expires just before a Special Event that you’d like to attend, you can renew up to a month in advance. Your new membership will begin for a year from when your last one expired – you won’t lose any time.
  • Do not worry if your membership expiry date is close to a Special Event date. We reserve a certain amount of tickets for Gold Members in this situation.
  • View all the upcoming Special Events HERE. You have to log into your online account to be able to book your tickets for free.
  • All members get 20% off admission tickets for up to 3 accompanying guests for a normal Museum day. In addition, regular Friends get 15% off their single day Special Event tickets and Gold Friends get 15% off single day Special Event tickets for up to three guests.
  • You can now book these online using the discount codes sent to you via email or in your joining and renewal letters.
  • You’ll be given the discount codes for the events taking place before your membership expires.
  • Go to our Events ticket page here and add the tickets you would like to book for yourself/your guests to your basket. You can then add the discount code to the basket into the box and press “Apply”.
  • You can still book these over the phone by calling 01929 405096.
  • You’ll be able to find the current discount code in your welcome/renewal letter or the latest Tracklink.
  • Go to and order your items.
  • Please note that this discount code is not valid for gift cards, tickets or membership.
  • While you are checking out, you will have the opportunity to enter the discount code at the payment stage.
