Common queries regarding Group Travel are below. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Email groups@tankmuseum.org or call 01929 405096.
The minimum group size is 10, there is no maximum.
If you opt for a guided tour, the maximum number of people who can be accommodated for 1 tour guide is 25 people. If you bring more people the group may need to be split into two for your tour, therefore requiring two guides. The exception to this is the First World War Mark IV Tank Tour, which requires 2 guides per 25 people.
Groups can pay by either BACS, payment link or card. Payment must be made 14 days prior to the visit date, unless otherwise agreed with a member of the Groups team. Within 14 days of the visit date, we can potentially increase the numbers in your group, but we will not accept a reduction to the numbers. If you have any queries regarding payment methods or require an invoice for your organisation’s records, please contact groups@tankmuseum.org.
The group rate admission does not include an Annual Pass.
Uniformed youth groups such as Scout, Cubs, and Guides can benefit from the group rate. One group leader can go free for every ten children.

You are welcome to enjoy your birthday at The Tank Museum, however there is no children’s birthday party package currently offered. We please ask that groups of children are properly supervised by an appropriate number of adults. We recommend a ratio of 1:10 for secondary school aged pupils and 1:6 for primary aged. You are welcome to use the café, restaurant and soft play area and can also bring your own food and cake. Please just ensure that no candles are lighted within the Museum as this can set off our fire alarms.
We offer gift bags at 3 different price levels, which include discounted items from our gift shop.
