TANKFEST 2020

With sadness, The Tank Museum has taken the decision not to go ahead with TANKFEST 2020 in September.

The event was postponed until September at a time when the longer-term impact the Coronavirus would have on our lives was yet to be fully appreciated.

Whilst The Tank Museum expects to be re-opening in July, daily admissions will be capped in at around 500 people per day for the foreseeable future. This is in line with latest government advice.

We have therefore concluded that it is unlikely that we could operate an event of the size and scale of TANKFEST safely in September – and that it would not be responsible to try.

TANKFEST is a very special occasion. We want all our visitors to feel safe and secure – and we want to be able to guarantee the best possible experience. This year, we don’t feel confident we can deliver on these crucial aspects with all the necessary safeguards in place.

Ticket holders will be contacted by email. If you haven’t received an email, please contact info@tankmuseum.org

The good news is that we are now able to confirm the dates for TANKFEST 2021 – 25-27 June 2021.

And even better, everyone is free to join The Tank Museum and World of Tanks this Sunday for TANKFEST Online – a free 3 hour TANKFEST livestream.
