Dorset-based charity’s annual Impact Report details dedication to education and the environment.
Instead of a dry stakeholder document, The Tank Museum has produced an engaging run-down of key statistics and achievements from the previous year.
“As the biggest museum on YouTube worldwide, we wanted to do what we do best,” said Chief Executive Officer Chris Price. “In video-form, our impact can be easily shared with our audience, as well as our Trustees, staff, and key stakeholders.”
Last year the Museum had their third busiest year on record, as well as welcoming over six thousand school children and nearly three thousand military personnel for special workshops and tours.
“We want to break down barriers of who can enjoy heritage attractions,” Chris goes on. “In 2025 our Universal and Pension Credit discount was used 5,000 times, and we’ve now expanded the discount to students for 2026.”
The Museum is also looking outside their walls, to improve local biodiversity.
2025 saw The Tank Museum make partnerships with Wild Britain and Forestry England, planting 64 million wildflower seeds with local school children and committing to planting 5,000 native trees in Dorset.
“We are really proud of the strides we’ve made to improve our environmental impact. Last year we trialled using biofuel in our rides vehicles and have continued to test it across our running fleet. If successful, this could reduce our carbon emissions by 90%.”
