On Track 2023

The Tank Museum will host their third wellbeing event on 5th October 2023, to shine a spotlight on the importance of mental health.

On Track takes place in conjunction with World Mental Health Day, and features speakers and expert-led workshops designed to support armed forces and emergency services personnel, veterans, and their families.

Past attendees commented that the event provided “life-changing information” and we are pleased to again support individuals by giving them the day-to-day tools and resources to help safeguard their mental well-being.

Rosanna Dean Visitor Experience General Manager said:

“Armed forces and emergency service personnel can face unique risks and challenges to their mental health, and the On Track event, working in partnership with the NHS, helps to improve the quality of life of individuals by giving them techniques and peer-to-peer contacts to help build their coping skills and positively impact their lives.

On Track event, visitors sat on chairs in front of a screen and fury tank.
The On Track mental wellbeing event, collaborates with NHS Charities.

“We are delighted that His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Dorset, Angus Campbell, will be opening the event and we welcome the support of the National Lottery Community Fund, Bournemouth University, the Armed Forces Covenant, and Dorset based charities.”

Exhibitors inside the Museum will include Models for Heroes, Dorset Police and Al-Anon, and the event will be livestreamed on YouTube to give those who are unable to attend the day in person access to the information from the event.
