Syabira Yusoff will be at The Tank Museum on 26th February to judge a cake competition and meet her fellow baking enthusiasts.
On Sunday 26 February, we are celebrating all things cake, with a baking competition and many more birthday inspired activities.
Meet 2022 Bake Off winner Syabira Yusoff between 10am – 12pm, before she announces the winner of our Baking Battle competition. Winners of the categories ‘Best Novelty Cake’ and ‘Best Tank Themed Cake’ will win a half day cookery school experience at luxury hotel, Chewton Glen.
Visitors are invited to share our 100th birthday cake with us and browse the sweet treats on offer at the baking fair. Hear about World War II rationing and have a go at completing our new 100th Birthday Bash Trail whilst exploring some of the most important tanks and objects in the Museum.
Events Manager Tom Holmes: ‘We wanted to share our birthday celebrations with our visitors and what better way to do so than with a whole day centered around cake. We are really looking forward to Syabira judging the competition – I’m sure she will have a couple of difficult decisions to make.’
