We are delighted to announce The Tank Museum achieved a rating of 99% in a recent Mystery Visitor Benchmarking survey, placing us in the top ten attractions for visitor experience in the UK.
Around 160 UK visitor attractions were assessed through mystery visits in 2024 by market researcher BVA BDRC.
The visitor journey, including pre-visit information, core visit experience, gift shop, catering and facilities was evaluated alongside staff performance, sustainability, cleanliness and navigation.
With an overall rating of 99%, The Tank Museum received the second highest score, against prestigious attractions including Shakespeare’s Birthplace, The Deep aquarium in Hull, and Loch Ness Cruises by Jacobite.
Chief Operating Officer, Simon Prager said:
“The Tank Museum has always put a special emphasis on visitor experience, and over the last few years we have invested time and energy into developing our staff, facilities and exhibitions.
“This excellent rating is testament to the hard work of our team, and I am very proud of the entire organisation.”
The Tank Museum’s powerful exhibitions tell the story of armoured warfare, where visitors come face to face with tanks and discover the incredible stories of their crew. On top of this, we have an exciting programme of tank-themed events for 2025.
