Join The Tank Museum’s 100th birthday celebrations this February Half Term with tonnes of party themed fun for the whole family!
Visitors can look forward to traditional party games, face painting and free Birthday-themed crafts. Plus, take part in the new 100th Birthday Bash Trail and explore some of the most important tanks and objects in the Museum, based on the new “The Tank Museum in 100 Objects” book.
See award-winning balloon artist David Crofts in action on 13 February as he makes a tank out of balloons and get a free miniature tank balloon to take home. Kids can also enjoy a brand-new tank inspired outdoor play area, opening in time for February Half Term.
Inside, explore The Tank Museum’s 9 powerful exhibitions and 300 military machines, full of interactives suitable for all ages, with games, trails, puzzles and hands-on activities. Discover the Museum’s indoor soft play, before relaxing at the Museum restaurant or café. Finally, don’t miss the opportunity to see the vehicles not on public display in the Vehicle Conservation Centre, open every day.
For the first weekend of half term, 11-12 February, the biggest model show in the South West returns to The Tank Museum, offering a wide selection of activities, workshops and displays.
A huge collection of model tanks, planes, ships and trains of all shapes and sizes will be available to see, make and purchase.
