Enjoy a family-friendly day out at The Tank Museum this Half Term, 15-23 February

Come rain or shine, The Tank Museum is the perfect place to head for a day out for the whole family to enjoy. Over February Half Term, the theme is ‘Camouflage in Combat’, with the Museum offering hands-on activities and a family trail exploring the use of camouflage on tanks.

Nicola Burgess, Education Manager, said:

“From the use of leaves and branches to complicated paint patterns, there have been plenty of creative and unusual approaches to keeping tanks hidden from the enemy.

“We’re excited to share the crazy history of tank camouflage with families visiting over the Half Term.”

Visitors to the Museum will also be able to explore the powerful interactive exhibitions and discover the world’s finest collection of military vehicles. Plus, there’s plenty to keep little ones busy, including soft-play and dressing up.
