Two opportunities to win a ride in the world-famous Tiger 131 tank at our Tiger Day Spring event on 18 April 2026.
There are two opportunities to win a ride in The Tank Museum’s most famous exhibit: one in an online auction and the other in a raffle. The two lucky winners will take their seats on 18 April at Tiger Day Spring 2026, where 4,500 visitors are expected to gather.
Tiger 131 only runs twice a year at the Museum’s Spring and Autumn Tiger Day events, which attract thousands of visitors from all over the world.

With its impenetrable armour, powerful gun, and huge size, the German Tiger I became a legend of its time.
It was the first Tiger I to be captured by the western Allies in the Second World War and is the only surviving example that you can see in action.

“This event is an opportunity to showcase Tiger 131’s history and the tanks it would’ve come up against,” says Nik Wyness, Director of Marketing and Engagement at The Tank Museum. “All proceeds from the raffle and auction will go towards keeping this unique tank running for many years to come.”
The auction is now live and closes at on Monday 23 March 2026. Raffle tickets are available to purchase until 12 noon on Wednesday 24 March 2026.
