‘Wartime Winter’ Family Activities

There’s tonnes to see and do at The Tank Museum this festive season. Plus, come back as many times as you want over the holidays, with a free annual pass included with every entry ticket purchased!

Seasonal activities this year include the Frank on a Tank Elf Trail, Christmas-themed 1940s House and Shop, and special talks about ‘Wartime Winter’. Interactive games, dressing up, soft play and the colouring station will keep the children entertained.

Education Manager, Nicola Burgess said,

“Families are invited to step back in time and experience Christmas in the trenches following the stories of soldiers who took part in the 1914 Christmas Truce, before visiting our 1940’s street to understand just how far rations could be stretched to create a festive feast during the Blitz.”

‘Wartime Winter’ is running at The Tank Museum from 21 December 2024 to 5 January 2025.

Please note, the Museum will be closed 24 – 26 December.
