Tonnes of family fun

The Tank Museum in Bovington launches tonnes of family fun this Summer and rain or shine has you covered!

Voted the Number 1 Dorset visitor attraction on Trip Advisor, The Tank Museum brings history to life with live tank displays, Monday-Thursday from 1pm, and the chance to ride in a real tracked vehicle. Every Friday get inside the Chieftain Main Battle tank and see what it was like to be a tank commander.

On sunny days, adventurous mini-tank fans can explore the brand-new outdoor play area, featuring wooden versions of historic machines.

“In the Centenary Year of The Tank Museum, we continue to offer an unparalleled visitor experience by improving the facilities and offering new activities for the whole family,” said Visitor Experience General Manager Rosanna Dean.

Visitors can also relax with a coffee next to the soft play area and catch a bite to eat in the on-site restaurant.

Entry tickets also include a 12 month Annual Pass to the Museum and visitors can book online to save 10%.
