Every year for TANKFEST we work with other collections to bring you a variety of guest vehicles, which will be on display in the arena. We’re pleased to announce the guest WWI vehicles which will be appearing at TANKFEST 2026.
Replica Mark IV
Deborah II from the Norfolk Tank Museum is a reproduction of the original Mk IV tank Deborah which was knocked out of action at The Battle of Cambrai on 20th November 1917.
The replica’s construction was charted in Channel 4’s 2017 documentary ‘Guy Martin’s WWI Tank’ – with the vehicle being as close to the original as possible, using modern technology. Powered by a Rolls Royce B60 engine connected to an agricultural transmission – the vehicle replicates the original sounds and smells of the Mark IV. Deborah II is on permanent display at the Norfolk Tank Museum.
Replica Whippet
This replica of the Medium Mark A ‘Whippet’ tank “Musical Box” was built by Landships CIC.
The build was conducted by Landships CIC and ran from 2019 to 2024 – and involved thousands of hours of workshop effort and research, including interviewing descendants of Musical Box’s crew, over 7 tons of steel for the fabrication, 1000 pretend rivets, 14km of welding wire, and 400 cutting and grinding disks. Read the story of Musical Box HERE.
We’re incredibly proud to welcome Deborah II and Musical Box to run alongside members of our own collection of First World War replicas in the arena on 26-28 June. Stay tuned – we’ll be announcing more TANKFEST 2026 Guest Vehicles soon!
