Record-breaking Black Friday sales

The Museum’s online shop saw record sales over the Black Friday weekend, with savvy shoppers raising £130,000 for the charity.

Tank enthusiasts were keen to get cosy this winter with top sellers including Tiger tank slippers and the Museum’s iconic Christmas jumper. An incredible 2,527 products were sold.

Kirsty Goddard, Assistant Digital Marketing Manager, says: “We would like to thank all those who supported the work of the Museum through our online shop. The campaign has been a real team effort from everyone in the organisation to make it a resounding success.

“Revenue raised from the sales will be re-invested to conserve the Tank Museum’s unique collection of historic moving armour.”

The Black Friday deals ran from Wednesday until Cyber Monday, ensuring customers had plenty of time to stock up on tank gifts. A mountain of orders have been dispatched in time for Christmas.

“We have seen great success with our Black Friday discounts, with each year better than the last. This year’s sales were nearly 20% higher than 2022.”
