Sherman Grizzly Migration

The Museum's Grizzly tank has gone on loan to Austria.

The Tank Museum has sent its Sherman Grizzly tank, on long term loan, to the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum in Vienna, Austria.

The Second World War Canadian tank has stood as a gate guard at the exit of The Tank Museum for many years. 

Sherman Grizzly handoverIt has been given on loan to the Military History Museum in Vienna, who don't currently have an example of a Sherman tank in their collection. The Grizzly is set to remain in Vienna for five years.
